A major Japanese restaurant management firm, Balni Barbi, inaugurated a new VIP secret lounge and enlisted Tangent to adorn the 80m long corridor from the entrance to the lounge with its artwork. Our proposal drew inspiration from the metaphor of approaching a Japanese shrine. At the entrance, a sculpture inspired by a large tree, often considered an embodiment of a deity, welcomes guests. The ceiling features lighting objects resembling clouds and sunlight filtering through. Two points along the corridor showcase our lighting product, Inaho, and a chandelier version was specially crafted for the lounge reception at the corridor's end.
