TOPPAN Inc. has developed and provided a low-cost paper media enhancement system using image recognition AI. As a development partner for "Yondee!"—a wearable device designed for reading picture books aloud using this system—Tangent contributed to device design, brand naming and logo design, voice content production, as well as app planning and UI/UX design.
"Yondee!" is a dedicated device equipped with a camera that captures printed media (compatible picture books). The built-in AI recognizes the content and plays corresponding voice content in real-time. By bridging physical books with digital technology, "Yondee!" enhances the reading experience, stimulates children's senses, and fosters a richer, more human-centered lifestyle and emotional growth.

TOPPAN株式会社が、画像認識AIを用いた低コストな紙面メディア拡張システムを提供・開発。本システムを活用した絵本を読み聞かせるウェアラブルデバイス「Yondee！（ヨンデー）」の開発協力として、Tangentはデバイスデザイン、ブランドネームの提案とロゴデザイン、音声コンテンツの制作、アプリの設計とUIUXデザインを手掛けました。
「Yondee！」は、カメラ付きの専用ディバイスで紙面メディア（対応絵本）を撮影すると、機器に搭載されたAI機能がその内容を認識し、それに応じた音声コンテンツがリアルタイムに再生されるサービスです。紙媒体とデジタルを連携させることで、読書体験をより豊かに広げ、子どもたちの五感を刺激し、人間らしい生活と健やかな心の成長を目指します。
